Panchatirthi yatra


          Panchatirthi yatra The Panchatirthi Pilgrimage to  the "Five Tirtha"along the River Fronts one of the most popular in  Varanasi. This route, Pilgrimage Travel the entire Length of the City by the Banks of the Ganges, some Pilgrims make the journey by Boat, but as in the case of all Pilgrimages, it is Better to practice the Tapas of walking .beginning at the Southern end of the City where the Asi River meets the Ganges, the Panchatirthi Pilgrims walk to  Dashashvamedha Ghat, and from there all the way to the Northern end of the city where the Varuna River flows into the Ganges. Then retracing their Steps, they stop at Panchaganga Ghat and, finally, at  the pre-eminently Sacred Manikarnika Ghat.
